The Summer of George is almost over

Well, it seems that I've taken the summer off from blogging. It wasn't my intention, but I just kinda lost interest in it.

I finished my first semester of grad school, I like it a lot. I also am finishing up a great internship here in DC as a political power-broker (or campaign researcher...). I love it out here, but I may be called back to to the motherland soon to work on a campaign that might be too good to pass up.

I now own a wonderful Powerbook; I sold the Mac mini on craigslist.

My car was broken into while I was on vacation in Minnesota. Stole my Wells Fargo Visa out of the glove box. Used to buy ~$300 worth of stuff and gas in Maryland. I'm actually on the phone right now trying to figure the whole thing out. Other than that, my car was totally fine and nothing else was taken. I guess there were four or five break-ins that night in my apartment complex, all Hondas too. Looks like I have to call a different number tomorrow so they can investigate it and refund my money. I don't know why it is so hard for them to do this.

I've been doing a ton of editing on Wikipedia. I think sometime soon I'll try to become an admin.

The 40-year-old Virgin was the funniest movie I've seen in a looooong time. And it has Catherine Keener in it... Growl!

I hope to do some posting on the U.S. Senate race in Minnesota soon. It is going to shape up into a really interesting fight.

More to come, maybe tonight.
