The Summer of George!

I'm gonna read a book. From beginning to end. In that order.
OK, I just finished my 3rd year of college and I only have one semester left before I graduate with a degree that is more or less useless (PoliSci). I'm living back at home, in my room in the attic, and so far I'm not loving it.

I have no car, not since Brandy died on me (and I treated her so well), so I've been using my parent's car. There was one guy selling a '92 Accord with 116k miles for $1,900 which would have been a great price if it didn't need quite a few things fixed. We paid $75 to have a guy look at it and tell us it wasn't worth buying, just like the $45 I paid to find out Brandy wasn't worth fixing. I think greasemonkies should only be able to charge when there is good news...

I bought Little Children from Costco this week on a whim, I love Tom Perrotta (he wrote Election) and I really like this book so far, but now I don't want to ever grow up, get married and certainly not have children.

I got West Wing season two on DVD, just finished up the last episode an hour ago. I honestly think season two was the best of all of them. Toby and Josh were both likeable, Rizzo wasn't a character they were obligated to put in every episode even though she is always comes off as a snob. And of course, Ainsley Hayes, can't forget her...

I watched the '24' finale, what a waste of time, nobody died, no big twist. Didn't one of Kim's other boyfriend's lose a limb, like last season? I don't care about the show, this was the only episode I saw this season after closely watching the last one. I've also missed out on the Alias episodes this season too.

I've found a blogger that I actually like read, he used to write for Dennis Miller Live and now lives in London with his wife. His blog is called Yankee Fog. Most other blogs are boring, including my own. I used to like Lileks, but he's a tool for Shrub and I find it hard to idolize him now.

I also have this problem of staying up until 3 or 4 AM every night and sleeping until noon, and tonight is no exception.

I'd also like to note that this is my 100th post, at least with Movable Type's count. So there, 100 entries! I'll be giving my speech after the dinner...
