Well, I have been a bad blogger, it isn't that I haven't had anything to blog about, I just haven't been putting it up here.

Hmm, what's new since I last had an entry?

I got another mod chip for my XBox, it is so awesome to be able to watch digital recordings of my favorite TV shows on my TV instead of my computer. But now watching them on my computer isn't so bad anymore because I now have an 18" UltraSharp LCD Dell display that is one of the best I've ever seen, and a fantastic investment.

Other news on the digital front, I guess I already blogged about this, but I have an awesome X3i Dell Axim PocketPC with builtin WiFi. I got a 256 Meg SD Flash Card for it, so now I can hold about 6 episodes of This American Life in RM to listen to while working or driving, that's really nice because radio in Eau Claire is shit. I can also recode episodes of shows like Curb Your Enthusiasm down to a 50 meg file designed just for the pocketPC screen, which is excellent. The monopoly game on there is VERY addictive, and I play it whenever I am bored, it is so strange to be able to carry around something that instantly cures boredom wherever I go on campus! Web browsing on it is kind of a pain, but it works, and I'm working on getting the handwriting recognition to become a little closer to 99% for me, now it is at around 67%, lots of errors.

I guess the other new toy that I have is a TV Tuner card that allows me to record shows that I'd otherwise miss, but it is buggy and not nearly what I want. A Tivo would be perfect, but alas is too expensive. You may want to know how I can afford these wonders of technology, and the answer is twofold, 1st, I use SlickDeals.net to find great deals on things that I need or think I need. Second is that I really don't spend my money on anything else, I don't drink, and I don't buy my girlfriend much so there's tons of disposable income from my low-paying job.

I think I'm done with this blog entry, and one of the things that I'm going to try for Lent this year is to have daily entries, but that isn't likely to happen...

This is a ground-breaking blogging event for me, I am making this entry from class on my PocketPC wirelessly. Ok, the novelty has worn off, back to learning.
