I'm so glad, the site

I'm so glad, the site really looks OK for now, and I'll do my best to spice things up a bit in the coming days. I still have to figure out the whole time-zone deal, is it saying that I'm publishing them when I'm actually writing them, like at GMT, or is it on the time of the King-of-the-world, proud to be an American, Christopher Reeves is the real hero, freedom loving country that I don't miss that much at the moment? You'll have to excuse my America bashing, I don't hate Americans, (well, some, if they're from Wisconsin) I just don't like Shrub and his whole party that is, pardon my French, driving the US down the shitter faster than a cruise missile. Knowing the US military, the missile would miss the shitter and kill Canadians, but really, who would notice?

Quick thought: I am the anti-WalMart, they hate the first ammendment (ie censorship of music) and I love it, they love the second amendment (which is incorrectly interpreted, but they don't care, they just love guns) and I could live a happy life knowing that some asshole isn't going to shoot me with some gun he got at WalMart. Also, I believe in fair wages and treating the employees that make it the biggest company in the world fairly is something a company should do, WalMart has a different philosophy. I also believe that competition, especially with small businesses, is important in the American capitalist system, it keeps prices low -- but WalMart can't handle competition so they drive everybody else out of business because they can afford to lower their prices, leaving people in many parts of America left with one choice. And it is a bad choice. Hmm, that thought wasn't that quick, well I had to say it for the record! If I could urinate on the grave of Sam Walton, I would, but then I'd have to go to Arkansas, and I don't think that anybody would notice nor really care. That's another thing, the money doesn't go back to the community, it goes to friggin Arkansas.

I wish this computer would cut me a break, all I wanna do is use AIM, it's a simple request. Begging here won't get it to work. The girl down the hall has a MAC, and even she can't get it to work, so I guess it is a universal thing, THANKS AOL! Grr. I feel like I'm a smack addict, I need to use AIM. I did go for lent last year without AIM, but there were other means, here there aren't many choices. I tried AIM Express (which isn't as fast as it sounds) and QuickBuddy (again, misleading name) and both don't work. I can get Yahoo! Messenger to work, but who the hell uses that? I'm sorry, I know nobody who uses Yahoo!.
